- Email address — collected when you subscribe to our newsletter or purchase a product
- Name — collected during checkout or newsletter sign-up (first name only for personalization)
- Payment information — collected and processed by Gumroad; we never see or store your credit card number
- Affiliate application information — name, email, website URL, and audience description if you apply to our affiliate program
Information collected automatically:
- Usage data — pages visited, time on site, referring URLs (via Netlify Analytics or similar; no personally identifiable tracking)
- Cookies — we use minimal cookies for site functionality and analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies.

- To deliver products you've purchased (via Gumroad)

5. Email Communications
If you subscribe to our newsletter, you'll receive a welcome sequence and then approximately one email per week. Every email includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it removes you immediately and permanently from our mailing list.
If you only purchased a product, you'll receive transactional emails (receipt, download link) from Gumroad. You can optionally subscribe to our newsletter during checkout.
6. Data Retention
- Newsletter subscribers: We retain your email until you unsubscribe. After unsubscribing, Kit retains a suppression record (your email on a do-not-contact list) to ensure we don't accidentally re-add you.
- Purchase records: Gumroad retains your purchase history as long as you have an account with them.
- Support emails: We retain support correspondence for up to 2 years.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy law (including GDPR for EU residents and CCPA for California residents) including:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
